Our story

How we met

Looking for an apartment in Berlin, Flávia found Oliver in a Facebook community: Brazilians in Berlin. It all started with an exchange of simple messages.

She moved in

Living together was easy from the very beginning. They got along well and soon created a connection. Lucky for her, Oliver loves cooking and she loves tasting his recipes.

It soon became a relationship

Flávia was upset because her study trip to Heidelberg had been cancelled. Oliver then surprised her with train tickets so they could go and visit the city together. At first they went as friends, but ended the trip as a couple.

Life as a couple

The funniest thing about the relationship was that it started in reverse: First living together as roommates, then came the trips and dates. However, destiny separate them for 5 months, after a trip to Brazil, only Oliver returned to Germany. It didn't stop them! They were together again, now no longer roommates, but as partners, making Berlin their home.

She said yes!

Passionate about photography, every year Oliver makes a photo album to remember the best moments. Certain that he had found the person for life, he took courage and ordered a ring. This year then, he created a special edition and on a sunset in Berlin, as she went through its pages for the first time, she was surprised that on the last one he wrote: "Will you marry me?". With the ring in hand and much crying, she said "yes."
